My Daily Tasks, What Are Yours?

I’ve been meaning to write something for this site for some time now and just couldn’t think of how I wanted to approach this. I think I have some things in mind though as I finally, finally, yes once again, finally sat myself down, took out a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down daily tasks for myself.

These aren’t just any tasks or particular tasks per day (kinda) or anything. These are things that mean something to me personally and will hopefully help me keep on track each day. I finally did SOMETHING. This may not be much but it’s a start and the start is the best thing you can do.

Here you go:

1. Do one thing each day to get out of my comfort zone.

2. Complete and turn in at least three apps a day until I find a job.

3. Write six blog articles on Saturday: Three for Blue and three for Goals.

4. Spend a couple hours a day with my daughter and my girlfriend.

5. Read at least twenty blogs a day and comment if I can add value.

I’ll admit that even sharing this with you all is definitely taking on number 1 because some of you may think I’m being a bit harsh setting a time frame instead of just “doing it” as far as spending time with my daughter. I disagree. I think it’s good that she and my girlfriend both are on my list and to make sure I keep up with this especially as family is the most important thing in life as well as God.

Also, this is a bit rough on me because if I slip and miss one some day and someone notices then they can call me on it. At that point, however, I can either make up excuses or admit I messed up and correct it for next time.

Why is this a bit scary and out of my comfort zone? Because I’m sharing something extremely personal (maybe not to some people) to me that I’m going to make sure I keep up with every day and showing you what I’ll be working towards day in and day out.

Ok… I’ve wrote enough about this and now I ask you to share what your daily tasks are. You don’t have to but it’d be nice to see what you set yourself on track to accomplish each day.

So… What are your daily tasks and/or what does everyone think?
